Rhythm of Life Calendar
The Rhythm of Life is a stunning, annual calendar ring by Grapat that allows the child to participate in the daily passage of time. Each color represents a month of the year, a significant date or a season. This calendar can be constructed all at once in advanced or by threading one ball a day. The variety of different materials are presented as loose pieces. According to the Waldorf pedagogy, the idea is that every day a child threads a ball according to the season and the month of the year. This way, children will experience time as days, months, years and seasons pass by in a concrete way.
