Community Helpers Peg Dolls
We love using this set of Helper Peg Dolls designed by Goose Grease—a fire-person, doctor, carpenter and police officer—for imaginative play that encourages storytelling, role-playing, and literacy opportunities. As young children make up new tales and explore their creativity, they learn about themselves and the world around them. You can also use these dolls to support kiddo during new transitions—back to school, sleepovers, camp. Tuck a peg doll into their backpack to offer a comforting reminder that you’re thinking of them.
Materials & Safety
Materials: Hand-chiseled Urapán wood, non-toxic water-based paints

Play is okay! tip
Have children make settings for their service peg dolls by either sketching backgrounds on large paper or using blocks to build the environment.
